Hello world! (Post#1)

Hello world! I started this blog as a tribute to my passion for the stock market. As I write this, I have intended for this to be a personal blog to document my achievement and utter frustration as I navigate my way through the stock market.

Unlike most blogs out there, I want this to be a journey highlighted by goals that I plan on achieving, and my status towards getting there – needless to say, there will definitely be a purpose to each blog post. If you are reading this post right now, thanks for stopping by. Hopefully you found this site through an active search in quest for your own answers – and if you found it here, glad to be of help. And please send me a comment or email, as I like to stay in touch with people who are learning and growing with each passing tick of the Dow.

I am NOT a financial advisor. In fact, I actually work a real full time career, and manage my stock market portfolio on the side. My case studies, then, are geared towards the regular career driven professional, who does NOT have all the time in the world to watch the Dow Jones move up and down on a minute-by-minute timeframe. I would like to find out if the rest of us non-financial sector working folk actually have a chance in making money in the stock market.

Like a parent, I have huge intentions for this blog – I have ideas where I would like to see it headed towards. Since I am not actively advertising this website, please share your comments and feedback, it will make my job a heck of a lot easier.
